The HR World hosted a virtual round table, sponsored by Indeed Flex, which brought together leading HR professionals from diverse industries. In each case the HR function was dealing with the challenge of creating a flexible workforce, able to respond to business needs swiftly and cost effectively.
The conversation, cemented the need for an agile workforce in today’s organisations as well as highlighting crucial aspects of how to manage such a workforce to maximise return. The discussion determined that with the right approach, from recruitment to management, companies can maximise productivity and loyalty from their flexible and contingent workforce. At a time when companies are under huge pressure to react to external and internal challenges, securing an agile workforce which brings the right skills to the right part of the organisation at the right time has never been more important.
