What we do
Access2Learn supports organisations to create workable, reasonable adjustments for disabled and neurodivergent employees. We work with HR teams and line managers who want clarity on what support can look like in practice and how to implement it confidently.
Our focus is practical. We help remove uncertainty so managers can have supportive conversations early, rather than waiting until barriers escalate into performance concerns.
The challenge we address
Many managers want to support disabled and neurodivergent employees but feel unsure how to remove workplace barriers. This uncertainty often leads to delayed conversations, allowing unaddressed barriers to be misinterpreted as performance issues. HR teams are simultaneously navigating legal responsibilities, operational demands and budgets. With the right structures and guidance in place, managers can prioritise business goals while ensuring the working environment is set up to support everyone effectively.
Our approach
We build knowledge and confidence so HR and managers can:
• understand what “reasonable” looks like in practice
• implement adjustments that work within business parameters
• create environments where employees feel safer to share support needs
• focus on strengths and sustainable performance
Our work is designed to support both the individual and the organisation.
Workplace assessments
Our workplace assessments provide tailored recommendations based on the individual’s role, environment and barriers experienced at work.
Ahead of assessments, we can agree an indicative budget range with the organisation. This helps manage expectations appropriately and ensures recommendations are realistic and aligned with what can be implemented.
We consider both low or no cost “soft adjustments” and adjustments that may involve financial investment.
Examples of soft adjustments may include:
• reviewing working hours
• reviewing breaks
• reviewing working duties
• considering hybrid or home working arrangements
• identifying accessible built-in tools within Microsoft or Apple systems
Where appropriate, recommendations may also include:
• assistive technology
• specialist hardware
• coaching
All recommendations are proportionate, practical and tailored to the individual.
Strategy coaching for neurodivergent employees
We currently offer strategy coaching for neurodivergent individuals in the workplace.
Coaching is:
• goal oriented
• focused on future outcomes
• structured around action and accountability
We work with individuals to build practical, usable strategies that reduce barriers at work and strengthen confidence in their role. This leads to sustained performance and contributes to a more engaged, efficient and effective team.
Who we work with
We partner with HR teams, People leaders and line managers who want a structured, informed and practical approach to supporting disabled and neurodivergent employees.
